Ettosi's Biography

As a singer/songwriter, Tosi Brooks tell stories that now spill over onto the pages of books. When she works with children, she gets back as much as she gives to her students.

From these encounters came the children’s book, Stori, Stori: Caribbean Tales With a Little Jazz winner of the 2017 Moonbeam Children’s Book Award for Book with Music.

Tosi Brooks Wildflower

In 2015 her short story Wildflower was published in Crack the Spine Literary Magazine. Words are sound, rhythm and colour to Tosi. They are food for her soul!

“I am so grateful that I get to do this,” she says. “I play an enchanted game with words and watch actors, dancers, singers and musicians bring them to life.”
